Nice and minimalist
Easy to put together. Holes well drilled and aligned. Headboard can be a little fiddly to put on but outside of that its brill. Doesn't look cheap and its definitely sturdy

Good deal but difficult to assemble
I bought this bed frame this month. It’s a good deal but it’s very difficult to assemble. The axis is too long and I had to make it shorter to fit the frame. It took a lot of time to do it.

Stylish and simple
A decent bed for the price. Looks like the more expensive versions. Quite time consuming to out it together but worth it.

Choose mattress size wisely
Bought this a week or so ago and overall I'm very happy with it, the low rise Japanese chic was exactly what I was looking for. However thank god I waited to assemble the bed before buying a mattress. As the mattress shown in their high production photo shoot, can't be more than 12 cm high/deep at best. Clearly this was carefully chosen to promote that oriental aesthetic and feel. I have to say I felt pretty duped by this as there was no mention of the mattress size used in the photo shoot at all. From my quick search I'd also say it would be almost impossible to source such a mattress in today's market. So I've included a photo of the bed with the 20 cm mattress that I bought as a guide and comparison for future buyers. (The depth between the slats and the top of the side rail is 4.5 cm) Blow me, it was only after taking the photo that I noticed the 1.5 cm gap between the headboard and side rail. Clearly the guide holes for the headboard batons had been misplaced. Tut tut, that's a days work to fix and adjust. Got to say that's sloppy workmanship. So for all of the above it's just 4 stars from me, and I have it was very close to being 3 stars. Besides the shoddy workmanship and duplicitous promotion, it's a good bed and well engineered. Other than that it's a good bed, very sturdy and engineered well. A 20 cm mattress manages to retain that cool chic in my view and overall I'm very happy.

Terrible quality and time consuming to build
I bought this as a spare room bed and really wish I had avoided it! From getting it out of the box it was marked and scratched with some of the marks looking like someone had tried to cover them up. Went ahead with assembling due to visitor coming and bed required. Assembly was a chore and excessive and although instructions fully followed we had to take a few steps back to readjust and loosen frame to get the following steps to fit then re-tightening again. Now for the worst part!!...the bed squeaks excessively and even after adjusting the frame numerous times it continues. Id say this bed is unusable and I will be in touch with Argos regarding this!!! Avoid this bed, its not worth the aggravation!!

Beautiful & Easy Put Together Bed 💗
I actually ordered one sm bed once it arrived I ordered a second in double..So easy put together & love the smell off the wood it brings u to Scandinavian location..The only fault I have is the the screws that came for placing the headboard are too long & I had to contact Argos to inform them to also pass onto Habitat..I did get a sm refund due to not wanting to return as my 15yr Son took great responsibility in making it..Love Habitat so that’s the reason I contacted Argos due to this one problem..Keep up the Great Service 💗

Beautiful bed, terrible service
Amazing bed, honestly. But the Service, deliver, calls, endless chats. Compensation they never end up actually providing for their mess. Pointless. Shop elsewhere.
Great bed, 35 - 44, London
It was Ok. Fine for a spare room.
I ordered both the small double platform bed frame and the 1-drawer bedside table, each described as Walnut and part of the Akio range. However, I noticed that the bedside table is significantly darker than the bed frame, despite both items being listed as the same colour and range. I also purchased a Silentnight small double mattress based on the suggestion shown during the bed purchase. Unfortunately, the mattress appears to run slightly small for the frame, leaving visible gaps at the sides, which affects the overall fit and comfort.
