Overall, a nice sized bed which looks good.
We brought this bed just before Christmas to accommodate extra guests. They found the bed comfortable and it looks great. The size is perfect. Argos delivery was brilliant. Hence 4 Stars. However, although the assembly was easy and straightforward, we did encounter one issue - the central strut for the slats was too long - the manufacturer hadn't allowed for the depth of the metal brackets, meaning we had to trim it down with a handsaw to fit it on. Also the fixing holes did not line up on this part, with or without cutting it down.

Watch out for your shins walking around the end!
Honestly, I guess you get to what you pay for! Needed a new bedframe and couldn't afford to spare much at the time so took a punt on this. It was pretty terrible to put together: some of the holes for pegs didn't line up well, needed a lot of brute force and had to use drill attachment on electric screwdriver to widen the last one on final side enough to get the peg to go in. Once it was finally together, it looked pretty stylish! However, we've already had to replace two broken slats and the design has very pointed corners which can do quite a bit of damage if you happen to walk into them (as my poor mum discovered while she was staying with us and took a flap of skin up on her shin! Sorry, Mum!). My advice is to give this a miss and opt for something less stylish but safer if you really can't afford to spend more right now.

Stylish bed & so easy to build
Upgraded our pre teen’s bed and it’s the perfect size. It looks stylish and is very comfortable. So pleased we purchased it.

Nice and minimalist
Easy to put together. Holes well drilled and aligned. Headboard can be a little fiddly to put on but outside of that its brill. Doesn't look cheap and its definitely sturdy

Lovely bed
Really lovely bed, looks great especially for the price. Building is relatively easy too just the middle support is too long to fit in and have the holes match up. It look a lot of hammering in to get it to fit. Also the slats all have two screws each to be screwed into the wood which is probably the longest and most annoying part of the building process.

Good deal but difficult to assemble
I bought this bed frame this month. It’s a good deal but it’s very difficult to assemble. The axis is too long and I had to make it shorter to fit the frame. It took a lot of time to do it.

Stylish and simple
A decent bed for the price. Looks like the more expensive versions. Quite time consuming to out it together but worth it.

Hello,
Habitat Akio Double Wooden Platform Bed Frame- Natural:
The Habitat Akio Double Wooden Platform Bed Frame - Natural is designed to accommodate a standard size mattress, which is 135cm wide and 190cm long. For optimal comfort and aesthetics, a 25–28 cm mattress is recommended, as it provides a balance between comfort and the visible portion of the headboard. A 30 cm mattress can also be used, but it will reduce the visible headboard space. It is important to ensure that the mattress is compatible with the frame's height and clearance to avoid any issues during assembly or use.
I hope this has answered,
