Overall a Good Machine, but Capacity Misleading
I have waited 5 months before writing this review so that I can properly test out this machine. Overall, it is a good machine. Clothes come out clean and generally the spin function gets most of the water out although there have been the odd occasion clothes have come out wet and have had to be re spun. The Auto Drying Programs also do a good job of getting items dry. And other that a squeak my machine developed less than a month in which I had looked at under the warranty but is “just one of them things” the machine is quiet even on spin cycles (I regularly have to check it is actually working). What for me lets this machine down is how misleading the capacity the machine takes is. The machine is marketed as being an 8KG for washing and 5KG for drying, but only two washing cycles can actually take an 8KG load and the is the no one has time for Eco Wash and the Cotton Wash (which is a blessing it does). The more common function Synthetic only takes 3KG of washing, and the quick wash cycle only 1kg which is so disappointing. Had I have known this and not needed a machine urgently I probably would have looked at another machine as this is not economical and I do not have 4 hours to wait for the Eco cycle nor do I want a washing machine running when I am not in the home to accommodate this a higher load capacity. The time dry cycle does an ok job at drying clothes but tends to leave items damp not try. The touch screen also doesn’t always recognise you touching it (even the engineer who came out to look at the machine could hit the right spots and like me kept putting the machine on child lock). I do think this machine at full price is overpriced so would recommend looking for it on offer.

Cannot adjust timings, cannot understand how it weighs washing "Didn't need Washer Dryer" and only bought due to offer in place at time. Should have stuck with original choice

Yes — the AEG 7000 Series LWR7185M4B washer dryer does have a Rinse Hold option.
Select your desired washing programme.
Press the Spin button repeatedly until the Rinse Hold symbol appears on the display.
Start the programme as normal.
When ready to finish, select Spin or Only Drain to complete the cycle.
The user manual' only references to ventilation are in Section 1.2 (General Safety):
"The ventilation opening in the base must not be covered by
a carpet, mat, or any floor covering".
"Ensure good air ventilation in the room where the appliance
is installed to avoid the backflow of unwanted gases into the
room from appliances burning gas or other fuels, including
open fires".

This model does not have a lint filter- it just has a a drain pump.
Even though this model has no dedicated lint trap, AEG recommends routine maintenance to keep drying performance optimal:
Clean the door seal regularly to remove fibres and buildup.
Run maintenance washes to prevent residue accumulation.
Clean the drain pump filter every six months (this is not a lint trap — it’s for drainage performance).

How to set it:
Turn the program selector to Spin Only.
Press the Start/Pause button to activate.
Press the Spin button repeatedly to choose a lower speed (e.g., 600 or 800 rpm).
Confirm selection and begin the spin cycle.
