About this product
Solid pine and designed to last, this detachable bunk bed is a sturdy and versatile choice your kids will love. It separates into 2 single beds so it's great for when your kids want a space of their own. And the added trundle bed makes sleepovers a dream! In a simple and timeless style, this painted version has reversible head and footboards, so you can choose either a panelled effect or smooth. As singles, the ground clearance is identical on both beds so they'll be the same height side by side.
Comes with 3 Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Single Mattress. Foam free, chemical treatment free and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep, they're perfect for growing children. And being single sided, you won't need to turn them.
To split the bunk into 2 single beds, you will need to do a spot of reassembly, moving the longer legs to the headboards to make both beds the same height. Just follow the step-by-step instructions.

Great for the grandkids
Bought this bed for our 3 Grandkids and they love it. Very comfortable and very easy to assemble. The only niggle is that the trundle is tight to get in and out as the mattress is longer that the gap between the legs of the bed but a minor problem.

After reading the reviews we wens ahead and ordered the habitat bunk beds with trundle and mattresses. Have to say we were very impressed they are well made and solid. Would recommend them and looking forward to see what the grandchildren say when they come and stay.

Set up as single beds
Very good as single beds Bought for our grandsons with the possibility of using as bunk beds when they are older It does seem whilst they do convert you have to disassemble the singles ie swop round legs to convert which will be ok once or twice but not suitable if you want to regularly swap between singles and bunks

Great bunk bed
This is a great bunk bed. It feels sturdy and the mattresses it comes with are good quality and comfortable. My husband was able to put this up in a day. The colour is great and the trundle bed will be so useful when we have guests or sleepovers as an extra bed.

The supplier has advised the following for the Detachable Bunk Bed, Trundle & 3 Mattresses-White:
This isn't designed to be painful to climb but, if you personally prefer flat treads/steps, then you may wish to choose and alternative one. The supplier does advise too that the child using the top bunk, and therefore also the ladder, must be 6 years of age and above.

Having checked the instructions for the Habitat Detachable Bunk Bed, Trundle, it states the below. There are no plugs supplied for the holes:
To achieve the single bed look, one end of the upper bunk should be swapped over with the lower bunk components.

At the time of writing, yes, the Habitat Detachable Bunk Bed, Trundle & 3 Mattresses-White does come with item number 3148512 - the name may have changed but it will be the Silentnight Healthy Growth Kids Classic Mattress - Single as seen on our website.
