Fantastic little machine
Is bought this as I wanted to get rid of an old Vigorelli machine in a cabinet. It was taking up too much space. This Brother is so lightweight and can be popped in a cupboard when not in use. I made some curtains since. I found it smooth running and very quiet. The instructions were easy to decipher. Wish I’d have bought it years ago.

Good first machine, problem with needle screw
Bought this as a beginner machine. It has been perfect for learning. Lots of stitch choice and easy to use. My one gripe is the screw to replace the needle is quite stiff and the tool to turn it does not slot into the screw head, I’ve had to use pliers to turn the screw to release the needle

Our supplier has advised that the Brother AE2500 Stitch Sewing Machine can be used to sew faux fur, however the machine would need the right setup. They recommend using Denim or ball point needles. Please also make sure that the fur is facing the feed dogs.
