Resin sheds like this one come supplied with a floor - an integral part. However, it needs to be built on a suitable hard level base, such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is NOT supplied. A shed can't be placed directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and could cause the door to warp.
With a 15 year guarantee, the Keter Darwin 4x6 shed is designed to last and it requires practically no maintenance. A simple wash and your Keter shed looks like new every year.

Better than the 6 X 8 keter we lost in the storm
This was easier to build and actually fitted together, unlike the 6 x 8 Keter we ordered and lost in the storm as Keter were no help as all. We have a small 4x3 keter and that is way stronger too. If you can't get someone to build it, get a smaller shed.

Good value and looks great
We are very pleased with the shed. My husband built it in about four hours on his own. The instructions could be better and he needed to sandpaper the rough edges of the panels to get a snug fit. But the finished shed looks great and the window is a useful touch and the floor fits well. We’ve had very heavy rain since construction and it is watertight. The door has a handle so we’ll need to work out a modification if we need to fit a lock to it. That could be a downside for some customers.

Finished Item Looks Good
Assembly of this took a bit longer than expected, about 4.5 hours and is really a two person job (it was windy, though!). I like that you can choose the position of the window. It looks surprisingly good, with a close-to-wood aesthetic. Downsides, the strip in the middle of the roof panels is solid whereas on a previous version it was clear and let in light. Also, the door handle does not fix very well to the door and there is no facility to lock it with a padlock. I've purchased a sliding bolt separately for this purpose. Overall, I'm happy with this product and would recommend it.

I can confirm when assembling this storage shed, you do have the option to place the window on either side and also the door can open either way depending on your preference. For more details please see page 5 of the manual on the link below

You choose the window placement when you build it. So, you can have it on the left or the right side. You can also choose whether to have the lock on the right or the left, dependant on which way you choose to hang the door.

I dont see why not, other than the wood will rot over time so you will need to repair the floor or move the shed. Mine came with the plastic floor included.

Yes, the shed has a floor. You build that first and then build the rest of the shed up from that. The floor of the shed should then sit flat on the decking, flagged area etc.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
