About this product
The Bush 7K Air Conditioner brings portable cooling for warmer days when you need to take the edge off the heat. With 7000BTU of cooling power, it handles rooms up to 14m3 - perfect for bedrooms, home offices, or compact living spaces. Three modes adapt to your needs - cooling when temperatures rise, fan mode for gentle air circulation, and dry mode to tackle humidity. Using 790 watts, it delivers effective cooling whilst running at 62dB, and the two speed settings let you adjust airflow to suit the moment.
Control comes via the top panel or the included remote, which arrives with 2 AAA batteries ready to go. The LED display keeps settings visible at a glance, and the 24-hour timer schedules cooling around your day. Sleep mode adjusts gradually through the night for undisturbed rest, whilst auto-restart remembers your preferences if power is interrupted. Castors make moving it between rooms effortless, and the compact design sits neatly wherever you need it. Effective cooling and dehumidifying with compact design; some noise and vibration issues; requires proper window sealing and venting; heavier unit but generally well-liked for hot weather relief.

Brilliant!
Cools down the room quickly, dehumidifies also which works well. slightly on the noisier side but worth it on the hot days.

Once again a quality product being let down by it being essentially second hand

It's really helped with warm nights
Bought during a recent heatwave as I had a nasty cold kicking in and didn't want to deal with another night in 30 degree bedroom. It did the trick, just make sure you make a good seal at the window (you don't get a slider kit with this unit), I made my own because the cheap universal slider kit I got was not great and as a result the air con was struggling. As long as you create an air tight seal for the outlet and have the correct size room (no bigger than 14 m2) this unit will get the temp down nicely.

Too noisy
Purchased this, arrived on the Saturday, returned it on the Sunday, so noisy, for £400 you would expect a better product, had to tilt the product on the side to stop the noise and vibration.

Does chuck out cold air
I picked this up the day before the heatwave broke so it's currently making a great shelf. Be warned - it's heavy. 24kg might not sound like a lot to gym types but you're lifting this with finger tips. As is the way these days the instructions are shockingly bad. Once set up it does blow out some very cold air and the remote is a nice touch. However, it blows some really hot air out of the back end and the exhaust is not long enough to get out of the window. Plus if the window is open that kind of defeats the object. There are window fittings avaliable but it looks like these are not for the uk market and only work with sliding windows. Having said that, it's way better than a fan and was pleasant to sit by with a book. Would I recommend it? That depends

Wish I had known & bought one sooner
This unit has changed our lives. We can now get a full un-interrupted nights sleep feeling cool & comfortable. Very reasonable cost compared to other units.

Wonderful when it’s too hot to sleep.
We bought this after struggling to sleep when the weather got really hot. It is heavy but quite compact and straightforward to use. Must admit we haven’t fully figured out the remote, but buttons on the machine are easy. We bought a fabric window cover to fit the tube through which helped. It was just wonderful during a couple of really hot nights recently. We used it in a fair sized double bedroom and it significantly cooled the room.

Brilliant
Went out and bought this one evening when got home and bedroom was over 30°c with latest heatwave. Cooled room down to 21°c pretty quickly. Use before going to bed, couldn't sleep with it on as quite noisy (which is a common thing with these type of Air Con units). Casing also vibrating but managed to sort that with a bit manipulation. Have put in open plan living room/kitchen/diner and makes a difference there too, though quite heavy to be moving around. All in all, really pleased. Had thought about one over the last couple of years, wish I'd gotten sooner.
