Sturdy and handy piece of equiptment
I bought this in exchange for a peddle version which I had to return to Argos as it wasn't suitable and wasnt working out for my mum to exercise her legs whilst sitting in her recliner chair. This one is so good and so much better for her, I've almost abandoned my exercise bike and been using it too. So obsessed with it. You can feel your muscles being worked. Sturdy piece of equiptment that you can easily move from room to room or even lend a friend. Also for the price it is good value for money.

Very good product at a good price to aid exercise
I bought this 2 weeks ago and have been using it every day for two possibly three sessions. It feels sturdy and well-made so hopefully will last some time, it's fairly quiet and smooth to use. I do feel that it's helping me to get in the exercise I'm looking for every day. I mainly using it for a session after I have eaten to help flatten blood sugar spikes as I am type two diabetic. Will know on my next blood test if it's helped or not but either way I feel this is a very good purchase for the money. You do need to buy some batteries to operate the display which can track distance time and calories, but personally I don't use this. Instead I hold my phone on my knee and that counts the cycles "steps" I take and records my time. I think there are eight different resistance settings on the device, I am currently on number four and as I get a bit fitter will dial it up to the higher levels. I am very happy with the device and the value.

Average
After a week of use, it is already squeaky. The screen alternates between time elapsed, speed, calories burned etc. It is not clear what the function of the white button. It doesn’t appear to be a reset button. Thankfully, I am not particularly interested in the data, my main concern is just using it whilst I work, which is easy enough

Good alternative to an exercise bike
Like this but ‘walks’ a bit while using it on carpet or wooden floor despite the fact it is heavy.

Good effective and sturdy bike
I've had this exercise bike a couple of weeks now, it's a very sturdy metal bike with a good resistance range to chose from. I'm very happy with it and can feel my leg muscles have been used after each session, especially thighs. All round a good product, would recommend. Just about 15 minutes to put together.

Hello there,
This Pro Fitness Seated Exercise Bike is not specifically designed for osteoarthritis. Please consult with a medical professional concerning any accommodations necessary for your condition.
Thanks for using Q&A.
The official manufacturers answer is no, however, I have one of these and I can use it standing up. If standing, I use it facing the other way to how you would use it when seated. I also use it near something I can use to steady myself if needed, like a piece of furniture or window sill. I dont think you would be able to be too energetic with it standing up, but I can manage a steady pace.
Hello English rose,
