About this product
The Vax HomePro Detect Pet is designed for homes with pets and mess. Debris Detect technology uses sensors to triple suction power when it detects dirt, giving a deeper clean without redoing spots. Hair Wrap Resist stops pet hair tangling around the brush roll, so you don't pull hair out by hand. It runs up to 45 minutes on a full charge and takes 3 hours to recharge. Weighing 3.5kg, it's light enough to carry upstairs. The 0.7l dustbin holds plenty before emptying, with an indicator to show when it's full.
The motorised floor head drives bristles into carpets to lift dirt and works on hard floors, laminate and rugs. Flexi Clean reaches under furniture without bending or moving items. It converts to a handheld for sofas, stairs and cars, with a motorised pet tool, crevice nozzle, stair tool, and pet hair remover. The washable filter avoids frequent replacements. The dustbin empties with a slide action for hygiene. It has variable power settings, a low battery indicator, and a wall mount for charging and storage. Honest opinion!
I’m giving this review a little under a month, to pitch it against my old Blade 5 pet. I have an old Cottage, with 50/50 carpet and stone flooring plus a couple of large wool rugs. Not to mention to Labradors! Firstly it’s more powerful, typically on my rugs, and easy to navigate and empty the bin, although the bin on my old vax was completely full, whereas this model is a lot less? Nevertheless it’s a good design, robust and user friendly. The downside to me is the squeaky plastic wheels on the floor brush head. It’s worse on carpets than the rugs and marginally better in the stone tile floors. I haven’t used the attachments to comment. It’s my fourth vax, so something’s right. I would not have paid the RRP advertised.

Easy to recommend
Had a few weeks, all good. Have owned many Vax machines this one is the best of them.Does all things well.easy to use, very light yet strong, well built. Just such a good vacuum, glad I purchased, easy to recommend.

Brilliant hoover ...only down side the dust bin doesn't hold a lot ...but easy to empty... brilliant how it adjusts from different piles of mess with not having to do anything

A good product.
The main selling point for the stick Vax was the fact that it has a five year warranty. It has some good features - e.g. bendy area - which makes it easier to get underneath furniture, extra attachments. I find it slightly too heavy for me and would like the dust container to hold considerably more than it does.

Excellent buy for the money does everything I want it to do having pets I use the highest power mode in main areas and still has enough battery power left, also added bonus of extra battery supplied, plenty of extra tools supplied something for everything. Also has excellent warranty 5 years on machine and 3 years on batteries, really happy with it plus super fast delivery following day, excellent thank you.

I bought this as I am waiting for an operation on my back and can't use a heavy vacuum. I had a light, cordless vacuum which gave up the ghost. I decided to purchase a better model and I am really pleased with this model. I particularly like the debris detector feature. I love having 2 batteries, so can clean the whole house without worries. It is heavier to push than my last model, but cleans much better

This would be personal choice. I can see this pet vacuum has Debris Detect technology and anti hair wrap which is not on the non pet version.
