Disfunctional product
Bought this item and it did not work as it should have so exchanged it for another one and it had the same problem. We contacted Tefal technical who confirmed we were using the product correctly and exchanged the product again. The third one was the same and we returned that for a full refund. This issue has not been with Argos but with Tefal. Argos was very helpful overall.

Replacement for old Actifry but with multi cook.
My old Actifry had become noisy and inconsistent so tile to replace. I wanted to retain the stirring to save shaking the draw so this seemed ideal. Plus I now have multi cook options. The included instructions are poor and online downloads are necessary to learn new features and the need for preheat on some foods. Crisping is not so good when layers are stacked and reduced air flow Design is compact.

Works well, but not very functional.
I was very happy when I bought this multicooker. But then I noticed that it lacks many of the features my old multicooker had. This multicooker doesn't have the soup or stew function. And I'm not sure how to bake bread with the stirrer inserted into the middle of the bowl. If you remove it, the needle will still stick out and leave a hole in the baked goods. It works well, but it's not very functional.

Not worth it if you want it to cook chips
Sadly we are not impressed with this model of Actifry. Our old original one this replaced would cook chips perfectly in 20 minutes. This model doesn’t appear to be able to manage this simple task and all you end up with it crispy mush after 30 minutes. We also tried the slow cooker mode but the meat came out tough and inedible.

Bought a few weeks ago, still yet to use some functions, rice (put more water in for brown rice) and risotto is great, still getting used to settings. Found it tricky to get a crisp airfry but really easy to use, quick, intuitive and love that I cand so much with it.

Genius needed
Quite confusing to use and not as east as my original actufry Prefer my ninja actually im sad to say as this was a resllt good price with great reviews. Sadly I have to disagree however.

The bowl pictured is not part of the pack. I have no idea why it is featured as an accessory, but the main black bowl inside the fryer DOES detach from it to wash.
Hi, the main body does not detach from the lid
Yes it makes crispy chips, the person who said the paddle does not work is mistaken. When having it on the STIRRER marked programs, the stirring action does not kick in until 10 minutes AFTER you start one.
Also, do NOT remove the bowl during a program as this resets the program and the stirrer back to its 10 minute activation. Press the STOP part of the button, before lifting the lid to check on the food. Then press START to continue the cooking program.
Only remove bowl, when food is done.
No it doesnt cook chips anything like your old actifry. Its just like any other air fryer. Our chips just stuck together because the stirring paddle doesnt turn the chip over.
