Very versatile
I bought this to replace an actifry which had broken, initially we found that chips weren’t cooked as well as the actifry but by changing the temperature and time the results are great, the multi cook is much more versatile and can be used for so much more than frying. Very pleased with this product.

Bought this item sometime ago, about a month, and it still does what it says on the lid.

Seems to cook ok but the stirrer doesn't appear to work very well. Food gets clogged up to one side of the air fryer and doesn't get cooked properly.

Instructions on basic usage / cooking are lacking
We've had a Tefal Air Fryer for a good while, so felt confident buying this model as a replacement. The various methodologies all seem to work, but it has been a real struggle to find out exactly how to use it for basic cooking. The "Quick Start" booklet was not included in the packaging, and we had to hunt it down on line and print it off. Even then there is a lot of basic information not available. For example, how to fry chips ( timings by weight of potatoes, quantity of oil etc would have been a good start , but all we can find in the limited info in the Quick Start, and on the recipe book ( only available on line, which is a real pain ) was for either cooking store bought frozen chips, or sweet potatoes. We had to go to AI for advice. Nothing on the size specific vegetables should be cut to, amount of oil, cooking time etc. Just 30 minutes for air frying anything. There's several pages on various types of one pot meals, but we wanted to work our way up those. Better information may be available somewhere, and the product will be well worth while. But it's been a battle to work out the basics.

Replacement for old Actifry but with multi cook.
My old Actifry had become noisy and inconsistent so tile to replace. I wanted to retain the stirring to save shaking the draw so this seemed ideal. Plus I now have multi cook options. The included instructions are poor and online downloads are necessary to learn new features and the need for preheat on some foods. Crisping is not so good when layers are stacked and reduced air flow Design is compact.

Works well, but not very functional.
I was very happy when I bought this multicooker. But then I noticed that it lacks many of the features my old multicooker had. This multicooker doesn't have the soup or stew function. And I'm not sure how to bake bread with the stirrer inserted into the middle of the bowl. If you remove it, the needle will still stick out and leave a hole in the baked goods. It works well, but it's not very functional.

Not worth it if you want it to cook chips
Sadly we are not impressed with this model of Actifry. Our old original one this replaced would cook chips perfectly in 20 minutes. This model doesn’t appear to be able to manage this simple task and all you end up with it crispy mush after 30 minutes. We also tried the slow cooker mode but the meat came out tough and inedible.

Bought a few weeks ago, still yet to use some functions, rice (put more water in for brown rice) and risotto is great, still getting used to settings. Found it tricky to get a crisp airfry but really easy to use, quick, intuitive and love that I cand so much with it.

The bowl pictured is not part of the pack. I have no idea why it is featured as an accessory, but the main black bowl inside the fryer DOES detach from it to wash.
Hi, the main body does not detach from the lid
Yes it makes crispy chips, the person who said the paddle does not work is mistaken. When having it on the STIRRER marked programs, the stirring action does not kick in until 10 minutes AFTER you start one.
Also, do NOT remove the bowl during a program as this resets the program and the stirrer back to its 10 minute activation. Press the STOP part of the button, before lifting the lid to check on the food. Then press START to continue the cooking program.
Only remove bowl, when food is done.
No it doesnt cook chips anything like your old actifry. Its just like any other air fryer. Our chips just stuck together because the stirring paddle doesnt turn the chip over.
