screen give up in less than 24hrs
i brought this just over 2 weeeks ago but only opened it 1 day ago as it was for my daughters birthday and it froze and the screen turned off and will not turn back on

Very poor battery life so had to be returned
Had to return this as the battery only lasted about 30 minutes from a full charge. A pity because, apart from this, the tablet seemed to be very good. Easy to set up & easy to use.

Battery life an issue.
This tablet looked just what I was looking for to replace my very old Hudl. I read the reviews and was a bit concerned about battery life, but Argos has a good name so I went ahead and purchased the tablet. The tablet was very well packaged and felt sturdy. The instruction booklets were also of high spec. I fully charged the tablet as instructed and by the time I had setup the tablet the battery was down to 20%. I charged it back up and left it over night on standby. In the morning I read the papers on BBC website for about an hour and the battery dropped to 40%. I recharged the battery and contacted the Help Desk and they said I should return the tablet for a refund. I wiped off most of my personal data with the intent of returning the tablet the next day and left it on standby. The next day the tablet was completely dead, even charging the battery did not help so I returned the table to the store. No quibbles and received a full refund. Thank you Argos.
