Smart & relatively friendly assembly
I bought and assembled this 2 weeks ago - it took a few hours but was fairly straightforward with just a handheld screwdriver. It seemed pretty wobbly until all the parts were together and now it seems reasonably sturdy with decent capacity. You always pay a bit more for Keter but the finish is nice so I’m pretty happy with it. Was delivered helpfully as well with the chap carrying it down our side escape. The box weighs about 50kg so those assembling it alone may struggle. It also need a flat even surface - my patio isn’t perfect but it stands fine on a reasonably flush surface. Weather wise it’s doing a good job and the padlock feature looks handy although I’m sure anyone determined enough could get in.

Sturdy storage unit
Pleasantly surprised with this. It’s a really sturdy storage unit. On opening the package you instinctively think great, another flat pack. Yet with two people it took under an hour to put together. Not bad for flat pack! Really easy with the diagram instructions. Not too fiddly to put together and surprisingly not a million bits either. Looks good upon building and fits in perfectly with our garden. The oak effect exterior is athletically pleasing. Door handle is twist up and down, easy to open. We’ve put our pool in there for next year and still have storage space. There’s 2 shelves which are included. Plus points are you can put these at any height so depending what you want to keep in there gives you some flexibility. I do recommend putting the shelves in as it makes the unit that much more rigid. Downside is that the shelves are not full width, so only good for smaller items. And there’s only 2. And would have been good to have a security lock, which it doesn’t. Fine for our back garden though.

Maybe not worth the price
Arrive colour much lighter than expected. Nice and roomy optional to add bith shelves as you decide where they go. Lots ilof little niggles when it arrived with scuffs and scratches all over. Not as sturdy as it maybe should be. Great handle and ability to lock .

Once built a fantastic storage solution
When the shed arrived it came in a large well packed box. It is heavy so would require two strong individuals to move to location you want it. Positives: looks perfect in the garden, lots of space and shelves to put things in, once built is very sturdy, seems waterproof, strong handle with the option to add a lock if needed. Negatives: When building some of the bits are hard to work out what they are as the corresponding number is small or not on it. Also it tells you to add side panels before building the roof, we feel it would be better the other way round as while doing the roof the side panel fell over hitting us as at that point they aren’t secured. It took about 2.5 hours for us to build it and is definitely a two man job. Instructions are easy to follow. Overall I am happy with the shed! And think it’s well made and once built perfect for the job required.

Smart looking storage
Smart looking, deep and sturdy storage. Fairly easy to put together, instructions for certain parts could have been slightly clearer, however a small mistake easily rectified. Most parts are clearly labelled and it took us a little over an hour to build. I would recommend a two person build as its a tall unit so one person can hold the panels while to other screws it in place. However it probably could be done by one person but would be a little awkward. You will need, in my opinion an electric screwdriver as there are a lot of screws and they have to go through the plastic. You will also need a spirit level and tape measure for the shelves. Once built you will need two people to move the unit into place as its quite sizable and would be very difficult for one person to lift. Overall I would recommend this unit. It stands just below our 6ft fence and pleasing to the eye.

Hello Eta,
I can advise the following for the Keter Signature 1400L Vertical Storage Shed - Oak:
Full instructions and components can be viewed in the "View document (PDF)" towards the bottom of the about this product section.
Thanks for using Q&A.
The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
