Wonderful Lamp
I bought this great lamp a couple of weeks ago. I was a little concerned because of other reviews who stated this was unstable and falls easily. This is absolutely not the case. The base is extremely heavy to prevent this so it is my feeling that they have turned the lamp away from the direction in which it is meant to be - according to the instructions. Further still, the tiny feet underneath ensure that the cable is not affecting how it stands at all. I have five cats and the lamp is still standing without the slightest of wobbles. I am extremely glad that I ignored those reviews and bought it. It looks fabulous, copper is always a winner for me. It is perfect for reading and for sewing both of which I have struggled with due to poor lighting here. There are small angle adjustments of the head available too and I use a 25w (3.5w?) bulb with it as the design gives targeted lighting. The copper finish isn't quite as strong as I would have expected, I imagine this could scratch in time but I am very pleased I got this. Absolutely does the trick and looks wonderful both on and off.

Bought the lamp and the metal shade is scratched in numerous places. Refund and return are both options but seem like more hassle than it’s worth.
