Panasonic Mini HiFi System
I was struggling to find a suitable replacement for an older CD music centre when I came across the Panasonic HiFi mini system. This well designed compact unit has Bluetooth connectivity, DAB and FM radio and was ai easy to set up. For a reasonable price the HiFi unit has a good sound quality and I have also registered the unit for the warranty on the Panasonic web site.

Argos helpful
Bluetooth connected initially but thereafter refused to connect. Tried three different devices. Instruction leaflet was almost useless. Did not look for one online as due to Bluetooth problem decided to return unit and get an alternative. Argos helpful and no problems.

Great sound, but some frustrating niggles
I am mostly pleased with this hifi. The sound quality of my old CDs is great, and it recognises some quite old and battered CDRs too, which is really welcome. There are a few frustrating things to consider however. Firstly, there is no aux in, and I concede this was my fault for not checking thoroughly, but there really should be, as it's so useful. Yes, there is Bluetooth, but not all my devices are enabled. For me, the biggest niggles with everyday use is the display. I don't understand why it doesn't display the track number when the CD plays. You have to click Display on the remote each time you want to see the track number, which would be ok if that was a permanent change but it reverts to displaying 'CD' when the next track begins. I cannot see a logical reason for that! Also, on my old Panasonic, when you inserted a CD, pressing play automatically closed the tray, switched to the CD function and started playing the CD, whereas this one, you have to press the close tray button, then cycle through all the selections (Bluetooth, DAB, FM, USB, CD) and then press play. Lastly, the illuminated display panel is also inset quite deeply in the front panel and the viewing angles are quite limited, especially if you are viewing it from slightly above. It's good, but just seems not to be so well thought through for the user, especially compared to similar but older Panasonic models.

Very clear sound and tone.
I’ve only had this stereo for a short time but does everything I need it to . Replaced an older Panasonic model which had broken.

I bought this mainly to play cd's but I have been thoroughly enjoying the dab radio too. All round a great bit of kit. Small and neat with great sound, I am delighted with this system.
