Great purchase
I’ve recently brought these for my daughter and we were really happy with the results. The books were in amazing condition and were very interesting to read. I highly recommend purchasing these as well.

Great gift for Christmas
This was purchased for a christmas gift for an 8 year old, although it may be a little difficult for her to read it is a great purchase since it is 3 books and there is no rush for the little one to finish so they can take time and enjoy reading.

Fab, vibrant books.
Fantastic books. I really like the idea that they come in a box, and the box is really quite sturdy. The books are paperback not hardback. The pages are not overly too thin, they have a decent thickness to them. The colours are vibrant and overall a great gift idea!

Great concept but not convinced.
I like most things Disney but I wasn’t completely sold on these books and neither were my oldest two sons. The are written in quite a grown up way so the 10 year struggled with some of the storyline, particularly where it jumped between timelines. Eventually I decided to read the remainder of the book to him myself. My 14 year old faired better but found the ‘twisted concept’ a bit confusing as his natural frame of reference was the original film(s) so when the storyline diverted from that he said he felt like it ruined the legacy of the originals. He felt the books were more orientated towards girls and more importantly Disney fans. The books are standalone stories and can be read in any order. I think I like the concept more than the actual result. Well written but not for most children under the age of 12.

Perfect for a Disney fanatic!
These books are darkly beautiful- the designs on the covers a spooky depiction of which tale has been twisted. They look great individually or on display inside the case. The writing style may be a bit old and get a bit confusing for younger children, especially with the time jumps and lack of pictures, and therefore I would say is aimed at mature people aged 10/11+. Our family have differing views on the story’s themselves, some of us really enjoying the unexpected turns and ‘what ifs?’, others feeling it was a bit predictable This would make a good gift for a Disney fan who enjoys and is confident in reading.

Keeps my kids interested
The books are well presented in a box. My kids were attracted to the fact that there is a twist to the stories. They’ve been eagerly reading them in anticipation for what happens next. I appreciate anything that keeps them away from tv and games and these books just did that.

Perfect gift for any avid reader
I love these books! Totally different take on the original stories, the “what if” of the tales brings a new outlook to the fairy tales. They come packaged in a nice little set! Perfect gift set for an avid reader. My two daughters age 10 and 13 love them too.

Great twists to Disney classics
Great twists to Disney classics. I am a die hard Disney fan so very attached to my originals but these books were fantastic! Great twists I didn’t see coming kept me gripped wanting to read more to see what happens! My daughter can’t wait to read them next!

Best series yet
I love these disney series. If your a villians fan these definitely right up your street. They are very well written and really interesting to learn all the stories of each individual villian. This series has princess and the frog, pinnocio and the sword and the stone. Id say these are more for young teens all the way up to adults.

Beautifully twisted books!
These books are beautiful to look at. The front cover artwork is amazing and presented well. They come in a box too to keep them safe. The books are good quality and the pages are thick. They do not feel like cheap books. The books themselves are a very good read. Great for older children and adults. Set in Stone was my personal favourite of the 3 as Madam Mim is back! And she was my favourite in Sword in the Stone! With colder nights coming grab these books and have a read! If not they’d make a great present. Enjoy!!
