I bought this for my youngest grand daughter's 4th birthday present, she loves messing around with the hair and placing the hair clips all over the hair, using the water bottle spray and brushing it out, quite a sturdy item to sit and play with, this has also encouraged her to want to have her own hair plaited or tied up in a nice ponytail.

I confirm that the hair is made of Polypropylene plastic.
This would not be suitable for use with hair straightners/curling wand.

There is lots of hair underneath but it is not that close together so the doll does have bald spots. The hair also gets knotted easily, lots pulls out when being brushed and the ends already look frizzy. We've only had it two days, I'm disappointed in it.

the hair is threaded by hair rooting machine. The doll's hair is secure enough for a child to play with. You are able to lift the hair up and there is more hair underneath.
