About this product
The Argos Home Harrogate Double Bed Frame gives you a sleigh-style design with soft velvet upholstery and deep buttoning on the scrolled headboard. It's built for restful nights with a frame that seats your mattress on sprung wooden slats, keeping airflow moving and supporting your body evenly. The blush silver velvet is tactile and comfortable to lean against while reading or relaxing. Turned wooden legs give it a classic finish and lift the frame for easy cleaning underneath. The double size fits standard mattresses and suits most bedrooms without dominating the floor space.
The slat base flexes slightly with movement, adding comfort and reducing pressure points through the night. The upholstered frame is finished by hand, so edges and corners feel smooth and refined. Twelve centimetres between the floor and base keeps air circulating and makes vacuuming straightforward. The frame supports up to 220kg total weight and sits at a comfortable height for getting in and out of bed. Supplied flat-packed with clear instructions for straightforward assembly, two people recommended. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

I have taken a look at the instructions for building the Argos Home Harrogate Double Velvet Bed Frame and can confirm that the foot part of the bed is 580mm and the height of the legs is 217 mm. There is an Ottoman version of the bed where the frame lifts up from the side, can be found at 207/7756
Harrogate Double Ottoman Bed Frame - Silver the bottom of the storage area is a base board.
