Easy to set up; better ink options
I bought this printer specifically for the ink option. It is very easy to tell ink levels and refill. The printer was easy to set up and connect to my devices. It prints quite quickly.

Excellent Inkjet printer
The printer takes a few minutes to set up but it's all straight forward and guided via the app. The print quality is superb and because there's an essentially flat paper path it early prints on heavy glossy paper. It comes with bottles of ink which are very easy to load and should last for years The printer is quite light which made it easy to carry home.

Quality of printing is excellent . It was a little lengthy to set up but worth the time . Printing software easy to use . Inks included with printer which was a bonus . Especially recommended for fellow crafters.

Super little printer with high resolution photo quality printing. I really like the ink tanks as opposed to the cost of cartridges. I am also impressed that the printer can handle fairly thick photo paper up to 300gsm. I connected the printer directly to my laptop using USB which worked a treat. Obviously I cannot comment on ease of WiFi connectivity.

This is a very efficient printer the ink refills last a long time we filled the printer when new we have printed alot and the has hardly moved it is quick connectivity using mobile and the resolution is great especially doing anime art.

Great on ink, pain to set up
It's my third eco-tank now. They're great if you're printing a lot as they hardly use any ink, but after a while, they need servicing, and you get no notice, and then it stops altogether. My last printer will probably work okay once I sort it, but as I run a business, I couldn't afford to be without for the weekend, so I bought another. Pain in the backside to set up too! Other than that, they are great.

Bought this printer recently and find it easy to print from my laptop. Easy fill print bottles. I haven't used the scanner yet as it is for printing mostly that I purchased it. Print quality good and prints quickly.

Just simple to set up
I recently bought the Epson EcoTank ET-2860 Wireless Inkjet Printer from Argos online, and overall I’m really happy with my purchase. From the moment I unboxed it, the setup felt straightforward. Filling the ink tanks was much easier (and cleaner) than I expected, and it was a relief not having to deal with traditional cartridges. Once everything was set up, connecting it to Wi-Fi was simple, and I was printing from my phone and laptop within minutes. Print quality has been very good for everyday use. Documents come out sharp and clear, and colour prints look bright enough for home projects and schoolwork. It’s not a professional photo printer, but for what I need, it does the job well. I also like how quiet it is compared to printers I’ve owned in the past. The biggest plus for me is the ink system. Knowing I won’t be constantly buying expensive cartridges is a huge bonus, and it feels much more economical in the long run. The ink levels are easy to see, which gives me peace of mind. That said, the printer isn’t the fastest in the world, especially for colour prints, and it feels very much like a home printer rather than something designed for heavy office use. But for day-to-day printing, scanning, and copying, it’s more than adequate. Overall, I think the ET-2860 is a solid, reliable printer that offers great value for money. Buying it online from Argos was easy, delivery was quick, and the printer itself has met my expectations so far. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, low-running-cost printer for home use.

According to Epson customer services - - - You have to setup using either USB or wifi method, and install software. Then you setup again, using the other method you didnt use the first time, and install software. So may be best to start with USB method at first setup, then wifi method on the second setup. Methods of setup are in instruction leaflet. Downloads are off Epson support site.

Best to check the manufacturers instructions and instructions on the media first. To print double-sided with the Epson EcoTank ET-2860, follow these steps:
Enable EPSON Status Monitor 3: Access the printer driver window, click Extended Settings on the Maintenance tab, and select Enable EPSON Status Monitor 3. This feature is necessary for manual 2-sided printing.
Select 2-Sided Printing: On the printer driver's Main tab, select the method of 2-Sided Printing.
Adjust Settings: Click Settings, make the appropriate settings, and then click OK. Set the other items on the Main and More Options tabs as necessary, and then click OK.
Print: Click Print. When the first side has finished printing, a pop-up window will be displayed on the computer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
