Disappointed in build quality
This was a second Ninja air fryer. Very pleased with the first which is 5 years old. This one however was a disappointment. I bought it on line believing in the Ninja brand. The draw did not locate properly in the body of the air fryer. It seemed more cheaply made. I sent it back and will look at other options in a high street store where I can gauge quality of build.

We don’t recommend using any plastic liners in the air fryer, as they can melt at high temperatures and potentially damage the unit, but you can safely use heat‑resistant silicone liners or paper liners that are designed specifically for air fryers.

Both the Ninja AF110UK and AF140UK have a crisper plate that will help with the fat and the water to drain at the bottom of the drawer, just to make the cleaning process easier after use, and allowing the food to evenly cook, and the descriptions are correct, while deep fry is not possible since the unit was designed for certain cooking modes.
The unit only stops the heating element and beeps and end the cooking cycle, but it doesn`t turn off completely.
The cooking drawer and crisper plate are both made out of aluminum with a nano-ceramic coating. The unit's exterior is BPA free. This air fryer does not feature stainless steel in its composition. To clean the main unit and the control panel, wipe them clean with a damp cloth. The drawer and crisper plate can be washed in the dishwasher. If food residue is stuck on the drawer or crisper plate, place them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water and allow to soak. Thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after cleaning.

We can confirm that the coating contains both PTFE and ceramic. All SharkNinja products comply with FDA requirements for food contact surfaces and all other relevant food safety requirements. The long-term use of food contact surfaces is something that FDA considers when approving them for use, so the eventual degradation of the cooking surface does not change the safety of the coating from a food contact surfaces standpoint.
The maximum capacity of the air fryer is 4.7 L. To cook that amount of fish at once, we recommend a double-drawered model.

The airfryer is fairly easy to maintain. To clean the main unit and the control panel, wipe them clean with a damp cloth. The drawer and crisper plate can be washed in the dishwasher. If food residue is stuck on the drawer or crisper plate, place them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water and allow to soak. Thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after cleaning. Please do not submerge the actual airfryer in water under any circumstances.
The AF140UK’s removable cooking basket measures approximately 10.5 cm high × 21 cm wide × 21 cm deep. The Crisper Tray measures measures approximately 21 cm × 21 cm.
