We have had this item 3 weeks now and we are so pleased with this fire , got it for our conservatory it warms it up in less then 20 minutes, wife lovers it because its drying washing not using tumble dryer.

Hi Mick, with the feet attached, this model can sit on a carpet. Depending on how high the pile of carpet will depend on how steady it will be. If it is a fluffy high pile carpet it may be less steady. We would always recommend the product sits flat with out wobble to ensure safety. Kind regards, Christa CEX Team

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: the fan speed is not variable it cannot be adjusted and runs at one speed.

The Dimplex Studio G DXSTG25 2.5kW Ceramic Tower Heater can only make a room warm up but doesn't have the capacity to cool down.
