The double-locking system is easy for an adult to operate and difficult for a child. One-handed use and two way opening. The extra tall design makes it much harder for children to climb over, no matter how tall they get.

Really pleased with this gate, its a great height (we have a tall labrador and I wanted a gate she wouldnt be able to jump over) it was easy to fit and the fact it can be opened easily with one hand too, makes such a difference. Defo recommend.

These are just taller, they are the same width as the smaller versions. These are also classed as pet gates as well.

The gap between the bars is around 56mm. As to whether it is suitable, this will depend on the size of the kittens.
The supplier suggests you may also wish to consider the Extra Tall Pressure Fit Pet Gate – Black, cat no: 953/7529, as this has gaps that are about 5.6cm - 5.8cm.
