About this product
The double-locking system is easy for an adult to operate and difficult for a child. One-handed use and two way opening. The extra tall design makes it much harder for children to climb over, no matter how tall they get.

Great height but not totally secure
I’ve had this a few weeks now and found it very easy to fit and didn’t take too much time but I do find it slips a bit when leant on. We have it on our toddlers bedroom door and if she tried hard enough she could definitely pull it off which isn’t ideal. But the height is great and it’s a fairly smooth open and close mechanism. It’s anti climb for a toddler due to its height but I wouldn’t say it’s totally safe for a strong toddler that’s determined to push it down

Great feature
Really good security I have used for my large Caucasian Shepard dog and has been perfect. I got this so when people come round to my house he can stay in the one room and has been really helpful perfect height too. Very accessible easy to open and very stable.

I bought this a month ago go for my toddlers bedroom. Great fitting. The gate shuts behind you as leave. It’s a good height . Good for the money. Bought it for £20 on offer .

Great item, used this to replace the smaller one I broke (same brand). It’s a good height that my 3 year old can’t open it, but my 6 year old can open it easily (which is what we wanted).

These are just taller, they are the same width as the smaller versions. These are also classed as pet gates as well.

The gap between the bars is around 56mm. As to whether it is suitable, this will depend on the size of the kittens.
The supplier suggests you may also wish to consider the Extra Tall Pressure Fit Pet Gate – Black, cat no: 953/7529, as this has gaps that are about 5.6cm - 5.8cm.
