Rubbish
First use of this today on our dark grey ceramic tiles and what a waste of money, leaves the floor soaking wet so it looks terrible when dry. Very poor design which relies on centrifugal force and a scrapper bar to remove the dirty water. Very disappointed.

Great cleaner
Good cleaner. Very easy to use, smooth and light. I find it very difficult to take the water filler off and I also find it difficult to put the rollers on. Not good for arthritic or weak hands otherwise very good.

Does what it is supposed to.
I thought I was getting a bigger bottle of detergent and spare rollers but disappointed by lack of them. The machine works ok but it's not tremendous. Cleans the floors well but doesn't dry as quick as the TV ads make out.

Terrible cleaning experience
I bought this mop because I really wanted one that could both clean the floor and collect water at the same time. Unfortunately, the battery life is ridiculous (only about 20 minutes after a 4-hour charge). Because there’s a gap between the rollers, you have to go over the same spot 2–3 times instead of once, which makes the cleaning coverage far smaller than expected. And then you need to charge it again! I'm really unhappy with this product, as I expected much more from Kärcher. I’d like to return it since I’m not going to use it — after only 13 days it’s back in the box, and I’ll never use it again (£175!). I’ve now ordered the Philips 5000 instead. I took it back to Argos, but because I had used it, they wouldn’t accept the return. I’m fuming. If it weren’t for the poor battery life and the badly designed rollers, this mop could have been absolutely brilliant. Honestly, keep away from this product

Ok once get used to it
This is a bit fiddly to use. Dad had to use a screwdriver to pop off the water tank as very hard to grip. I even struggled. You will still need to use an ordinary Mop now and again to get right to any corners or tight spaces. It's ok though. I prefer to use a Mop and bucket though.

Didn't work
I bought this electric floor mop, after unpacking and setting up, I discovered that it would only move about 1mtr. After a couple of phone calls to Karcher I returned the product for a refund....

Hi Claire,
To remove the water tank on your Karcher EWM 2 Cordless Electric Wiping Mop, follow these steps:
Locate the recessed grip: The fresh water tank has a recessed grip to help you remove it.
Remove the tank: Grasp the tank by the recessed grip and pull it out from the device.
Open the tank cap: Turn the cap to the side to open it and fill or empty the tank as needed.
Reinsert the tank: Once you're done, insert the fresh water tank back into the appliance, ensuring it sits snugly.

Hello Chez.
Karcher EWM 2 Cordless Electric Wiping Mop:
The dirty water tank is located just above the roller, you need to remove the cover as in image 11 where the tank sits behind, this then just lifts out. For more details on how to do this please watch the video under "More Details"
Thank you for using Q&A.
