Disappointing
Purchased this despite being advised to buy cheaper, standard foam mats as they seemed ok value with 20% off. I thought they would do the job, as well as look good. Turns out they are very flimsy, thin and hard to put rogether. Had to seal them together with duct tape. There was a rip in one mat in the packaging. Seriously don’t bother!

Although it protects , very thin (expected it to be thicker, especially with whats sitting on top) and with the jigsaw put together style it moves ! Would need a perfect flat surface for this to be ok. Why not just a roll? Then cut to desired size. Would have returned but had already opened.

Worst 35 pounds ever spent. There is nothing special about this thin foam. Comes unlinked easily, and after 5 days the skinny edge bits don't look like they will last. Terrible design and would be better as one complete piece as the links dont stay connected. The thin foam is Very easy to damage, i thought it would be more rubbery for that price. We have it on a very solid, level patio .

"We can advise that the floor protector protects the base of the spa and helps insulate the bottom to prevent heat loss. However, it does not protect the floor as water may possibly still seep through the gaps in the protector."

Hello there. The Lay-Z-Spa 1.96m X 1.96m Floor Protector is 0.3mm thick and is designed to protect the underside of the hot tub, as long as it is used in accordance with manufacturers instructions and the shed base has no sharp points ( eg - nails or rubble) then this should be fine
