Slice at a price !!!
Bought a few weeks ago this food slicer is exceptional value for money! As you would expect at this price point it has a few very minor issues but absolutely nothing to get in the way of it working exceptionally well. The assembly instructions could be clearer but once put together it is easy to use . As you expect safety is a big mystery with a machine like this and it has been dealt with totally. The thickness guide takes a bit of getting used to but works well 90% of the time slicing things like potatoes down to spring onions equally well. Cleaning is very easy just remove the blade ( twist action catch in centre) and everything is accessible to wipe down. The folding design means it doesn’t take much storage room. It remains to be seen how durable it is but for home use it is perfect.

Poor quality
Poor quality and flexible plastic. Wouldn’t feel safe using this item. Returned

Cheap but not cheerful!
Not recommended for the following; How ridiculous to have to hold the button down for it to run, you’d just as well buy a manual slicer having only one hand free. Not enough room on the slider bed for a decent sized loaf and when removed the circular blade doesn’t extend down into the base so leaving the bottom of the bread uncut. Even at a special price of £25.00 it’s not worth it. Avoid!

Useless
Absolutely terrible. Poor materials and about as sharp as a marshmallow. Just chews up anything you try to slice with it.

Does the trick
Obviously home kitchen quality, rather than anything heavier duty and professional, but does what it's supposed to do to an adequate level.

Useless
I bought this slicer to mainly slice honey made bread. A waste of money and was returned after one attempt. It was useless, flimsy and in no way up for the job.
