good household printer
Lovely printer , good to have double sided printing, clear prints. took a while to set up with my Mac but works well now . Don't know how the ink will go on but should be better with separate colours

A Smooth Process.
Very impressed with how easy it was to discover, read about and order the Epsom XP 4205 printer Arranging to collect at our local Sainsbury’s too was easy and the whole process was straightforward. The printer was quite easy to set up and subscribe to Epsom Print deals. It works very well & we are pleased we decided to deal with Argos.

It does the job
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace an Epson printed that gave up after 30 years. Not sure this one will last as long, but at least it has a scanner. Some of the printing is fainter than I would like, and the printer keeps losing connection to the internet. When it does lose connection it doesn't reconnect itself and the router password has to be typed in again, which is a pain. Other than that the printers fine.

Easy to set-up if following online instructions.
I was dreading getting a new printer, but this was easy to set up, just follow the Epson online guide(as the paper instructions are useless) which even has step-by-step videos to help. Wifi connection with my laptop was easy too and checking with my mobile phone, that also works with it. It takes a little while and to set-up the printer alignment etc, but it's worth taking the time. Some people have complained about ink consumption, but I would suggest checking what quality print you're using for each job; the higher the quality for photos etc, the higher the ink usage. I was impressed with the couple of photos I printed and the speed for some text pages was good too. Time will tell, but so far so good and compatible ink is also available saving my need to sell a kidney to fund official ink. The scanner was as expected, but the set up and review of the scans is unnecessarily complicated with too many options to go through compared to my old XP312. Decent value on a par with other similar brands at this level.

No, a USB cable is not included with this printer.
If you plan to connect it via USB, you will need to purchase a compatible USB cable separately. However, the printer supports Wi‑Fi, Wi‑Fi Direct, and mobile printing, so a cable is not necessary for most setups.
