Press the button after 2 seconds to turn the light off. No need to cycle through the modes.
Adjust the brightness by pulsing the button once for a concentrated beam and pulsing it twice for a wide beam.
Adjust the beam width by pulsing the button three times for a wide beam only.

The supplier has advised the Energizer Vision HD Extra Performance 1300 Lumen Metal Torch requires 6 x AA batteries to function. There are 6 x AA batteries included in the pack. This torch has no internal battery. Once the batteries have expired they would need replacing.
