Good baby gate. A bit fiddly and needs tightening from time to time but overall sturdy enough and safe (my toddler hasn't figured out how to open it yet unlike some other ones I've tried in the past which is a big bonus).

This product is very good quality, sturdy and stable I like that it opens in bothe directions and clips shut with minimal force if anything that nearly marked it down is although not difficult to fit it is a strange mechanism you have to use a very strange wee spanner type to tighten where it could be made to tighten with a normal spanner however it is good quality.

Bought this to keep the dogs from running outside when front door is open. Really disappointed because the item has been reduced further. We put the stair gate up. & we can’t get the spanner to fit anywhere at all. I’ve had stair gates in the past. But this one is totally useless. Appalled at how difficult it is to assemble. We still have not figured it out. Feel like to throw in the bin. Worst item I’ve ever bought in my life. I would have returned this item. But we left it a while before we actually got round to put it up. Waste of money never again. I’ve had lots of people have a look & they can’t figure it out either. Don’t even buy it. You will just be wasting your hard earned cash. I think that’s why it’s now reduced

Manufacturers generally do not recommend pressure‑fit gates at the top of stairs, because there’s always a risk of movement or loosening over time. A screw‑fit (wall‑mounted) gate is considered much safer in that location.

The gaps between the bars are only tested up to 24 months, depending on the Childs growth they could get feet or hands trapped in the bars.
