It’s a functional gate!
Bought to stop our Labrador puppy from eating the stair carpet! It fits and does the job! For anyone buying it to keep a child from escaping you have my sympathies and my advice is get a Labrador and a couple of cats instead…much more fun✊

Great and easy
I’ve had this product for about a month and it works really well easy to use really simple and a good height can’t be opened by a easy little push either so young kids won’t be able to get in without opening it properly only sad part is my dog can jump over it but that’s fine

Good product for the price.
The product does exactly what it’s meant to, it’s sturdy yet lightweight to open. It’s doesn’t fit our stairs but we made adaptations. I got this to stop my dog going upstairs.

Really like
Bought to keep the dog and baby separate during play/meals and it worked very well, stayed in place when jumped at and not easy to dislodge. Easy to open and close, closes shut behind you as you walk through so can use with hands full. Definitely invest in the extender if your doorway/gap is on the higher end of the scale as it definitely feels stronger when the ends aren’t fully extended. Only knocked a star off as I had to go back to the shop to get the extender as my doorway was exactly the largest measurement which it doesn’t actually fit well in.

Cuggle safety gates
This doesn’t come with sticky pads and isn’t a no-drill solution. Makes a loud noise on closing and not particularly stable. Seek an alternative would be my advice as I bought 3 and they’re not particularly cheap especially when you have to factor in the the extenders.

Manufacturers generally do not recommend pressure‑fit gates at the top of stairs, because there’s always a risk of movement or loosening over time. A screw‑fit (wall‑mounted) gate is considered much safer in that location.

The gaps between the bars are only tested up to 24 months, depending on the Childs growth they could get feet or hands trapped in the bars.
