Not the best one we’ve had but does the job.
It’s quite hard to tighten the gate into place and also it seems to close every time you open it which is probably a safety feature but it’s a bit annoying when your in and out of a room a lot.

Great value, super sturdy
We’ve had this a few weeks for our new puppy and it’s great value for money. We got it on offer, so for £20 it’s amazing. It’s super sturdy and the lock mechanic is easy to use, simply click and lift. The only issue we did have was that it was a bit too small for our staircase, so we got an alternative for that and used this one for the doorway. (Not sure if our stair case is abnormally large?)

I have just bought this gate to use at the top of the stairs as it clearly states it is a Screwfix safety gate however the box says this is a pressure fit safety gate. I have also put this question to Argos.

Cuggl Safety Gate - White 341/6316
From the information in the video it shows that the cups are drilled into the wall/doorframe using one screw and then the gate itself fits into the cups and is tightened but the screw dials.
The video 2/5 shows how this is installed.

This safety barrier is for indoor domestic use only.
It's made of metal and plastic parts but, as it's indoor use only, it won't be coated/treated for outdoor use where it's a high moisture/wet environment.

There is one gate in the package and no,this is not designed to be fitted safely without drilling. It is a pressure‑fit gate, but it still requires wall cups to be attached to the wall, and these must be screwed in for safe use.
