OK, but becomes loose
Not as easy to install as a gate with bolts. The plastic disks seems to screw well and secure the gate, but a few days later, one is always loose again. Gate opening is easy, much better than other brands. All in all, OK gate, but rather they replace the disks with bolts

Excellent quality. A little fiddly to fit but only took a few minutes. Follow the instructions carefully and it all makes sense. Ensure that you keep the small 1mm piece of card provided. To set the gate up correctly. Once fitted it’s safe and really easy to use.

Good stair gate, we have been using them for years
Good stair gate, we have had several for about 4 years and bought another to add to a different area of the house. It is easy to install and use.

Staircase faulty manufacture
The stair gate is well made, but the offset on the post with the latch is far too great to enable the correct adjustment of the top latch, such that it would work. Also, the special tool supplied to tighten the fixing wheels, did not work. Fortunately, the bottom latch works.

It is a great value for money gate. Would recommend it. We bought it to contain a puppy.

Solid well built gate. Fiddle to fix
Took a number of attempts and was quite a fiddle to fix, possibly because the opening it was fitted to was the maximum suggested. Hence 4 stars. Despite saying that it is a solid well made gate and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I have just bought this gate to use at the top of the stairs as it clearly states it is a Screwfix safety gate however the box says this is a pressure fit safety gate. I have also put this question to Argos.

Cuggl Safety Gate - White 341/6316
From the information in the video it shows that the cups are drilled into the wall/doorframe using one screw and then the gate itself fits into the cups and is tightened but the screw dials.
The video 2/5 shows how this is installed.
