Very satisfied with this gate; of robust and neat construction and when fitted, it stays rigidly in place. The unlock & lift mechanism is a particularly secure means of preventing clever little ones from opening the gate on their own. No hesitation in giving this a 5 star review.

Excellent product! I bought this for the bottom of my stairs to stop my 4 dogs from getting on my new carpet lol. I love it bit I don’t know if the dogs do. Locks perfectly and nice colour to match my paint. Thank you so much Argos

Very sturdy and easy to assemble gate. I got the extension to ensure it fits within the staircase dimensions and both of these together worked a dream. I purchased it to be used as dog gate to block off the stairs and it works great.

I can advise the following for the Cuggl Pressure Fit Safety Gate - White:
Manufacturers generally do not recommend pressure‑fit gates at the top of stairs, because there’s always a risk of movement or loosening over time. A screw‑fit (wall‑mounted) gate is considered much safer in that location.
