About this product
A screw-fixed gate that sits across doorways or stairs where little ones shouldn't wander. The double-locking system takes an adult's coordination to open (press two buttons on the handle at once) while a toddler's hands will struggle with the combination. It opens both ways and you can nudge it through with one hand when you're carrying a child or basket of washing. Fits openings from 75 to 81cm, or wider if you add the optional 6cm extension. The walk-through section is generous enough that you won't be side-stepping every time you pass.
The screw-fit mounting provides a solid, permanent fix (not a pressure gate that can shift). The two-lock handle requires pressing both buttons simultaneously, making it tricky for small fingers. One-handed operation is handy when juggling a wriggling toddler or hot mug. The gate swings both ways, so you can push through from either side without fuss. A step-over bar at the base keeps it stable but means lifting your foot as you pass. At 74cm tall, it contains most children up to 24 months. The white finish suits most homes without standing out.

Used as dog safety gate
This is the second one I've bought as a safety gate to stop the newly adopted dog from chasing the cat! The installation instructions could be improved, and I found it difficult to screw the tabs far enough against the door frame to ensure that both safety catches are in use (needs someone with more strength). Having said that, it is stable and secure enough for my needs.

From the information in the video it shows that the cups are drilled into the wall/doorframe using one screw and then the gate itself fits into the cups and is tightened but the screw dials.
The video 2/5 shows how this is installed.

This safety barrier is for indoor domestic use only.
It's made of metal and plastic parts but, as it's indoor use only, it won't be coated/treated for outdoor use where it's a high moisture/wet environment.

There is one gate in the package and no,this is not designed to be fitted safely without drilling. It is a pressure‑fit gate, but it still requires wall cups to be attached to the wall, and these must be screwed in for safe use.
