I tried this Argos bundle of logs and what a pleasant suprise !… Dry , longevity for the burn , great output and almost smokeless !… All packaged up in a reusable bag too .

Well packaged and burns fiercely. Probably burns a bit too quickly. Easy to set alight though. Would use this to start a fire then cover with charcoal

I have had a chance to try these split logs over Christmas and they have been excellent - lighting readily, with little smoke and a good, strong flame. A burning fire in the hearth was a really cheerful addition to our festivities. I can easily split them further with an axe to make kindling and they store well in their netting holder in an outhouse and are clean enough to bring into the dining room. I opted for this product as I could order it "Click and Collect" from my local Argos and picke them up 2 days later.
I can't say whether they are good value for money as I didn't do a comparison and I'm not intending to use a large volume (only occasional use in a fireplace, not a log-burning stove)

This wood burned easily with very little smoke, there is more wood in the sack than I expected, the burn lasted long with just 3 pieces and cooked bbq easily with it.
