The seat is of good quality, but the fixings bits is very poor and I don't think it will last. One bolt came off couple of days ago and I had to tighten up again.

This is my 3rd or 4th toilet seat, the problems ive had with the others were either too small or they kept moving until I over tightened them and then they went in the bin, this Croydex seat is thicker more comfortable and does exactly what it says on the box. Excellent in my opinion well done Argos.

Quality Product of Good Design.
This toilet seat appears good quality. It has a solid feel and is soft-close. Another standout feature is the fixing method. Underneath the hinges, the part that contacts the toilet has a sticky pad. The screw threads have a solid bolt head at the hinge side and a conventional metal nut (instead of the usual plastic wing nut) on the underside. A small tool is supplied for tightening the nut. These features combined make the seat very stable and I'm confident it won't come loose in time. Impressive.

Strong and Sturdy
I bought this item a week ago , some of the reviews virtually put me off but I needed this item as nothing else compares. This was easy to fit, don’t pull sticky backed plastic off until you are really satisfied. Only thing I found could not adjust it enough, seat does over hang at the front slightly, but there was nothing else that came close

There's a regular nut that needs doing up, but there's a tool included in the box that you can use. I found it best to hand tighten to a point, then use the tool to finish
