Good but not speedy
Straight forward to set up but found the printer slow to start with until I adjusted the settings in print mode. Unfortunately I haven’t found out how to save the print settings I want as every time I power up to print it defaults to the slowest, and I mean slow, mode. The price was good which is why I bought this printer to do a bit of printing occasionally.

Replacement Printer
I bought this printer to replace a previous HP printer that I had had for years. This printer was far easier to install, a lot quicker to respond when printing, and the cost of the ink cartridges is cheaper than my previous model.

Fantastic basic printer
Since I use printers infrequently I was after a cheap, basic but high quality printer. I was nervous this wouldn't be up to scratch but so far I've been really impressed. I opted not to sign up for the instant ink and my ink is going strong a 3 months later

You can avoid a permanent contract by canceling the HP Instant Ink trial after the initial 3 months (or before, if you prefer), but you must sign up for the trial during printer setup to get the free ink, requiring internet, an HP account, and using genuine HP ink; after canceling, you'll need to buy standard, non-Instant Ink cartridges to keep printing, as the printer requires genuine HP ink and connectivity to work with HP+.
