Smart connected oven - Are you sometimes unsure which programme to use? Just ask the Oven Assistant using the Home Connect app and simply say what dish you want to prepare. The oven will suggest suitable settings or programmes and switch directly to your selection – an extremely convenient feature.
Cleaning made easier - The environmentally friendly Cleaning Assistance softens baked-on residue. Add 400ml of water with a drop of washing-up liquid in the bottom of the oven cavity and select the cleaning programme. The steam helps lift away residual food so that the oven can be wiped clean.

Smart compact oven/microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this as a compliment to a standard oven as well in a kitchen refit. Like the range of functions to use as an oven, microwave, grill, etc. The touch function outer ring on this device doesn't seem as reactive as the oven itself, but otherwise applicance is great. Like the notifications you get to your phone via the home connect app as well

Screen delay in response
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Bosch oven and it's good overall and works as expected The screen has some issues with delays and hanging and no way to reset it. I have been facing issues with screen and operating as there is a lot of delay when pressing buttons and processing of action after pressing cooking mode on Oven.

Replacement Microwave Oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my 9 year old Series 8 Microwave Oven in which the internals were showing rust. Item is very good looking and feels high quality. Functions are easy to use but would have preferred a square TFT screen with vertical scroll bars. Capabilities are wide ranging from Microwave to Oven to Air-Fryer. Will take time to test all modes but looking forward to making full use of the machine current technology and options. No regrets on this model.

Impressive product

I absolutely love the control panel and the number of heating options. Still getting used to the inverter microwave function. Exterior is cool to touch. Microwave Heating
The microwave heating of this unit is not uniform nor consistent because it does not have a rotating platter as per our previous non-Bosch design. The tactile adjustment of the timer is not fit for purpose. Basically, I wish we had not changed our old cooker/microwave.

Non uniform heating
This microwave does not heat uniformly. It will boil ingredients around the edge of the dish whilst the middle of the dish is cold. If there were chicken pieces at the edge of the dish, they would explode after 20 seconds, so you have to stir the dish every 15 seconds. I thought it must be broken, so got the Bosch engineer round to test it. After a few tests he said everthing was perfect. He said to "Try cooking it at a lower power" to get more even cooking. It is not much better but now takes 1/3 more time to cook. I ended up buying a different brand of microwave, as I was so unhappy with this one. I haven't tried the regular oven features. I am not a fan of the touch screen in the centre, but I suppose I would get used to it with more use.
