The eufyCam 3 system gives you control over your security footage with military-grade encryption and expandable local storage up to 16TB with an added hard drive (sold separately). Eufy - Every home should have one
Excellent security camera system from Euphy. Read the Instructions and anyone with a bit of common can install this. I have added some solar camera’s (we will see if they charge in British weather). Standard cameras are good and can last up to 12 weeks depending on how busy the area they cover is ( simple to recharge ). Facial recognition works well and can be reassuring when trawling through the notifications. Only issue I can report is the limited distance that the cameras can cope with. So position you Homebase centrally and at chest height if possible. I have plugged into my router but you can connect with WiFi (cannot comment on performance) For peace of mind when away from the home this is a must

I bought this to replace a ring camera and was happy with the quick and easy set up and great camera. One thing it didnt have was the alert tone from the base which rings like the Ring camera. The alert tone is sent to the app which means you would always have to have your mobile phone with you to hear the alert.

Good cameras could be better
The cameras and image themselves and the features are great however the cameras are too heavy for the brackets so the camera’s hang down due to the weight of them. This could be improved.

Yes. While it's designed with an integrated solar panel for continuous charging, it also includes a USB-C port for wired charging. You can use a USB-C cable to charge the camera or connect it to the HomeBase for charging.

Yes, however the geo range is set to about 150m from your location.
You can not at the current time set geo location and timed shedule to work together. Ie time at night, all cameras on and geo in the day, cameras off when home

You can fix the camera to a wall and set it so it looks along the wall ie 75 degs to the wall. The wide angled lens does the rest

Having checked the manual I can see this can be fitted to a sidewall and set to a 45 degree angle depending on the sunlight available in that area for charging. The camera is on an adjustable mount.

The home base 3 unit has to be connected to your wi fi hub by a lead, supplied. And the base unit needs a power supply.
