Brilliant blender
Excellent quality jug is heavy though as its glass lid was really tight to open and close as it has a strong rubber seal we took the seal off as it is still a really good closure as it locks in place and nothing splashes out

Blade snapped, beware
A blade snapped when I was making a smoothie...nothing very hard in it, which obviously would have been very dangerous if I'd drunk it! I only noticed because the smoothie leaked out of the bottom of the jug.

Heavy jug of disappointing construction
I purchased this because it has a glass jug and it doesn't come bundled with attachments I don't need. However, when I opened the box I discovered that the jug is bottomless and sits on a plastic base. I don't want to have plastic in contact with my food, so I returned the blender. As has been pointed out by other reviewers, the jug is very heavy, and because the base is quite tall it would be difficult for me to lift it on and off. I've not been able to ascertain performance or noise because I didn't try it, so I've chosen the middle rating forthose.

Wasnt sure if i really wanted to buy this. Glad i did. Really good machine for the price. It does exactly what it says, its easy to operate and clean, l would recomend this machine to everyone

I found this way beyond my handling!! I have had many blenders, I just could not cope with this one. I tried it but would not come on although power was on, I am 81 years old & I could not manipulate it. I took it to my local Argos, but they would not change as I obviously had tried to use by putting something in!!! Anyway I gave it to my grandaughter. You should consider the phrase - COULD BE DIFFICULT FOR AN OLDER PERSON. Sorry I do not have a smart phone to leave a photograph!

I bought this about 1 month ago to replace a smaller one I’d had for over a year as it was broken. We use it approx 5 times per week it’s so easy to use. My only concern is the weight of the jug and the fact that it’s made from glass means that the children in our house struggle to use it without my help.

Whats going on? On receiving 2 orders without the BPA bottle I was told categorically by Salter it did NOT include it nor did they even make one to fit despite it being advertised as being included
