The soft touch cotton cover protects your mattress from sweat and stains extending the life of your mattress. This quilted mattress protector fits to your bed with a knitted skirt suitable for a mattress depth up to 30cm. What's more its easy care which means its machine washable.

Bought it as a replacement mattress cover not on really impressed as it’s a lot thinner than the last one but it is under the sheet and not on show. It will do for the time being but going forward I will look at other makes

The Slumberdown Cotton Comfort Mattress Protector - Single, has side skirts for mattress's up to 30cm, however this means stretched to 30cm, therefore this would be suitable for a mattress of 16cm depth, any excess can be tucked underneath the mattress.

"Yes, there is no reason why you couldn’t use the product over the top of an electric blanket. We usually say, a protector should go on first as this is designed to protector you mattress giving it a longer life. Then your electric blanket goes on top, finally your fitted bed sheet."
(We'd also advise that you check the electric blanket’s specs too so as to be sure that it’s safe to use with a blanket of this type before considering its use).
