Great mattress protector. Exactly what I wanted with skirt to keep it in place so no wrinkles under the sheet, and breathable cotton fabric. Good fit and being washable makes it more hygienic and hopefully extends life of mattress to some degree.

Good Mattress Protector
This mattress protector is lovely and thick, nice material, it fits my double bed perfectly, the Elastic could have been a little tighter, as the mattress protector does move a bit as Im a restless sleeper, and creases a bit. But if you sleep soundly and don't move much it will be perfect. But it is a really good mattress proof the whole I would recommend to a friend.

The Slumberdown Cotton Comfort Mattress Protector - Single, has side skirts for mattress's up to 30cm, however this means stretched to 30cm, therefore this would be suitable for a mattress of 16cm depth, any excess can be tucked underneath the mattress.

"Yes, there is no reason why you couldn’t use the product over the top of an electric blanket. We usually say, a protector should go on first as this is designed to protector you mattress giving it a longer life. Then your electric blanket goes on top, finally your fitted bed sheet."
(We'd also advise that you check the electric blanket’s specs too so as to be sure that it’s safe to use with a blanket of this type before considering its use).
