About this product
A crib that slots right up beside your bed, so you can see and reach your baby without getting up. The drop side folds down to create an open co-sleeper, giving you that close contact during night feeds and settling. The height adjusts to match your bed perfectly, and secure straps hold it in place. Soft quilted padding lines the inside, with a mattress included, so it's ready to use from the start. Mesh sides let you keep an eye on them while they sleep.
The height adjusts to fit different bed frames, so whether you have a low platform or higher bed, the crib lines up with your mattress. Fitting straps keep it secure in co-sleeper mode. The adjustable incline lets you tilt the sleeping surface slightly to help with reflux, blocked noses, or digestion. Mesh side panels let you check on your baby without leaning over. A storage shelf underneath holds nappies, muslins or essentials for 3am changes. It assembles without tools and locks in a stationary position when needed. Suitable from birth to 6 months.

Well designed and definitely recommended
We bought this cot to be used standalone and couldn't be more pleased with it. Although it is not a rocking crib, yet there is sufficient flexibility in the frame that we can rock our little boy back to sleep. It contrasts with a rocking crib we bought and returned prior to this one. The design of that one meant that our baby was tipped on his side into the cot edge when it rocked. There are no such concerns with this one. It also folds up easily for travel (if you remember to fold one leg on top of the base and the other underneath!). It might not be the most compact out there. but the carry case included made it convenient to transport. The storage underneath the crib is another plus. Definitely recommended

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Red Kite Cozysleep Bedside Crib: As long as the brakes have been disengaged prior to moving it, there shouldn’t be an issue using it on carpet.
Please bear in mind that ALL cribs or cots have warnings on them that the cot can only be moved or adjusted WITHOUT a child in it. These warnings are mandatory and must be present for the item to pass British Standards testing procedures.

The distance from the floor to the top of the horizontal bar (where the wheel is attached) is approximately 9.5cm to 10cm. However, the legs with wheels are spring-loaded and specifically designed for use with divan beds, which typically have no clearance underneath. Each wheel also features an individual brake for added stability, and the crib includes bed straps for secure attachment.
