There is a snooze function, a light so you can easily see the time in the dark when it is pressed and luminous hands. It also boasts an eye-catching blue second hand and alarm on/off switch. Comes with battery included which was a pleasant surprise! Good looking clock which is let down by two issues. Firstly the accuracy of the alarm isn’t what you might expect if you have ever used a digital alarm clock. Even if the alarm hand is exactly on the hour the alarm can be activated a good ten minutes late. The other disappointing issue is that the luminous hands are so dim I found them impossible to see in the dark which meant having to press the light button. This could then disturb your sleeping partner.

Yes, the hands glow in the dark without having to press the button at the top. If you shine a torch directly at the hands for about a minute they will glow really good.

No it does not tick. It has a sweeper second hand which just glides and there is no sound. A very quiet clock.
