Emergency rescue
Needed a replacement quickly for regular kettle whose element failed. Ordered and collected within the hour: this is a no frills, get what you pay for item but does the job until permanent choice made. It will then become the emergency backup.

Yes the Cookworks model xyz is a cordless kettle, and like all others, its base unit must be plugged into a mains electricity socket using its flexible cord.
