Affordable kettle with good capacity and decent boiling speed. Some issues with lid not staying open, pouring control, and durability. Overall good value for money for basic use.

Bought it to boil water. It works a treat and was really inexpensive so what is there to not like? 👍

Basic no frills Kettle
Wanted a basic inexpensive no frills kettle and this Cookworks kettle fitted the bill and at £11 it's about half the price of the next cheapest kettle. It does what it's meant to do boil waterand has a decent 1.7 ltr cpacity which is enough for about 6 mugs of tea. When pouring do not tip/tilt it too quickly when half filled or more as the wide spout can cause spillage if your not careful. As has been mentioned in some other reviews of this kettle if it's held level when you go to fill it the lid doesn't stay close so that can easily be overcome by tilting it slightly backwards, therfore not a problem. The kettle doesn't rotate on its base like many of the more expensive kettles do and at £11 one shouldn't expect it but it does offer good value for money for an inexpensive kettle if that is what you want.

£11 worth of plastic
it's an £11 kettle, takes too long to boil in my opinion, but only bought it to boil water to use Menthol Crystals for my synuses.
cheap and crap

Be careful when pouring
Looking at previous reviews prior to purchasing I have to say there's is no problem with the lid as this opens fully and stays open during filing. The spout however is 'rounded' rather than pointed. This means you have to be careful when pouring as it is easy to spill boiling water if you're not careful. In my opinion this is a bad design. Apart from that it's a good and inexpensive kettle.

Low Cost Practical
This inexpensive kettle fulfils its purpose. My criticism is that it is not the easiest kettle to fill. It would have been better if the lid had stayed open while holding it under the tap. Otherwise.it meets its purpose
