Elegant floor lamps
I bought two of these floor lamps to replace old ones. They are really lovely and complement my decor beautifully. They are extremely easy to assemble (I am a pensioner and found no problem with the assembly!) I particularly like the foot operated on/off switch located on the floor.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Argos Home Twist Floor Lamp - Cream.
You may use a different shade as long as the new shade’s gimbal frame is compatible with an E27 ES lamp holder. The shade frame must have a 42 mm diameter hole.

This is a standard E27/ES lamp holder so any shade ring designed for an E27 fitting will be compatible.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Argos Home Twist Floor Lamp - Cream:
Yes, the black protective plastic bands must be removed before assembly, these are there to protect cable to be in direct contact with metal and getting scratched, all the floor lamps have it. These bands have a gap in one side making is removal very easier.

No, it will need full assembly. The pole is separate to the base and the top and, also, the pole itself is made up of 3 sections that screw together.
