For the price it is an excellent "Freeview" box. Easy to hook up. You get all what is needed. It is almost plug in and play. There are popular apps for "catchup" and if you need Netflix, then this is not for you! There are 5 buttons on the remote which can be customised to operate the TV functions via a "Learning" feature, which I recommend you do. The remote is well designed with well spaced rubber buttons which thankfully are not slippy, So great for the not so nimble fingered people. There are regular software updates from Manhattan, and so it is best to keep the unit powered up (in Standby Mode) overnight. Register the unit with Manhattan and you get an extra year's warranty!

I didn't have high expectations for this product but it has proved very capable. It was easy to connect and set up, the remote control configuration was a little time consuming but apart from that I’m very pleased with it. I have noticed that the casing feels quite warm when in use, probably nothing to worry about.

Manhattan T4 set top freeview & Internet box
Excellent product enabling connection to the Internet via WiFi or ethernet. No record facility on this model but does have a pause and catch up option. Ideal for getting iplayer etc to a standard TV. Very compact and easy to set up.

YouTube was added to the T4 and T4•R models as part of a software update (version 2.0) released in February 2025. To access YouTube and other on-demand services, the box must be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
