Perfect for hot drinks, cold drinks, and cooking, it uses a four-stage filtration system with natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls to reduce chlorine taste and filter trace impurities like herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and metals like lead and copper. With a 2.4 ls total capacity and 1.4 l filtered at a time, there's plenty for the family. Plus, 12 cartridges are included, covering you for a full year.
The flip lid opens with just one hand, making refilling quick and easy even when you're busy in the kitchen. The built in BRITA Memo reminds you when it's time to swap the cartridge after four weeks, taking the guesswork out of maintenance. Made from durable plastic, the jug's dishwasher safe except for the indicator, and at 25.8cm high and 10.5cm deep, it fits neatly in most fridge doors. Loving the lid on my water jug
I bought my Marella water jug about a month ago. So far so good. I'm really enjoying the lid design, which makes it so much easier to fill up with water by just pressing a small section of the lid with your thumb which lifts up to allow you to add water. Much better than having to remove the lid every time.

Easy to use and maintain
