The crumb tray is at the back of the toaster, not very convenient! Also there isn’t much depth to the toaster slices so the top doesn’t get brown. It’s a very pretty toaster though. I much prefer my older model of this toaster which stopped working.

A toaster should be a toaster, right? Burns the bread a bit, allowing for melted buttery goodness, job done. But this isn't like any other toaster I have ever had! Upon selecting my choice of toaster, I was pleased that it was in the sale, so after copying and pasting the code (Argos, just reduce the price, copying a code is a pain in the neck and adds a layer of unnecessary frustration) I bought online ready for collection the next day. I didn't receive an e mail, but did the text so all good. Once home, I pushed my old toaster to the side, mocking it for failing to do the only task it needed to achieve. However, the new toaster, apart from feeling a little plasticey, has the shortest cable in the world, I repeat THE SHORTEST CABLE IN THE WORLD, and means that there is very little option to move it so unless the plug socket is in exactly the right place, it is a problem. This isn't about feng shui, but a safety aspect of being able to taster bread without it being under a cabinet, which unless you have nothing about the plug socket, this would be (my parents had a kitchen fire caused by the underside of a kitchen cabinet getting hot from, you guessed it, a toaster). So, off I trudged back to Argos where it was refunded without quibble or complaint.

Toasting crumpets - in theory, yes you can - BUT - due to the weight of crumpets - far heavier than a slice of bread - causes the bread supports to be forced down to the bottom of the toaster and they get stuck, after which you have to manually pull them back up, and with each occasion, they are bending out of shape as they are quite flimsy. Also crumpets can get stuck in the toaster, which again, after extracting them, the bread supports are bent even more. I will no longer toast crumpets.
