Replacement for a previous Russell Hobbs
Inherited previous Russell Hobbs toaster from parents and after @ 18 years of use bread wasn't getting browned all over and metal pieces fell out when I cleaned it! Wanted another 4 slice with individual browning levels for each "pair" and many brands don't offer this option but knowing how reliable this brand has been, and I've had their kettles for many years, it seemed to be an obvious choice. Added bonus was there was a 20% discount offer the day I ordered, and with gift cards and nectar points I paid £0 in hard cash to buy. Used a few times now and very impressed with the even cooking. Dials seem to need to be a bit higher than the old one and as others have mentoned the cable is a lot shorter but that just means for me it takes up less space in the cupboard. Overall I would recommend.

Stylish toaster for thick bread slices
Very easy to collect in person from local Argos, 5min after paying for it at home. Good toaster - two separate independent switches, and also allows for thicker bread slices that I slice myself, which is much tastier than the skinny pre-sliced bread at the supermarket.

unfortunately it is not fully brushed. I purchased this but could not be bothered taking it back so putting up with it, it is shiny steel on the front and top.
