Hi Chrissy
As a general rule, the measurements on a toilet seat equate as follows.
Height - this is the measurement from front to back of the seat.
Width - from side to side as you look at the seat
Depth - the thickness of the seat and lid.
If in original packaging and unopened, this toilet seat can be returned for a full refund if necessary or exchanged for another toilet seat.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A
This toilet seat is terrible. It moves all the time,I have ro keep tightening the fittings. I have given up now ,its going in the bin. I Definitely would not buy again.
Awful, keeps coming loose, Im constantly tightening the screws, but same day its loose again, I have mobility problems and have nearly fallen off the loo multiple times because of it. Too late to get my money back but I would if I could.
It keeps coming loose I have to tighten the fittings regularly. I am fed up with it now, so I am going to replace with a different one. The silver on the back toilet fittings are peeling of to. I have bought these toilet seats in the past. This new one is awful, I wont buy it again.
Hello Looking for non slip,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tongue and Groove Style Toilet Seat - Grey:
Once the toilet seat is assembled on the ceramic bowl, it won't move, it will be locked in place. If you find the seat is moving, it might be that the screws are loose. In such situations, you'd just need to tighten them back up.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
No you can not
Hello Blondie,
The supplier has advised the following for the Tongue and Groove Style Toilet Seat - White:
If you want to remove the lid, you can do so by loosening the screws. But if you only assemble the seat on the toilet, you will still have the hinges on without the lid, and this will likely get in the way when it's in use. They advise against using it this way.
Also, in support of the supplier's response, we sell our items on the basis that they're used with original parts and in the originally intended set up. Were damage or a fault to occur due to either the removal of the lid or its use without a lid, then this would not be covered by our guarantee.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
