About this product
Give your bathroom a quick refresh with this classic black toilet seat. It's designed with traditional tongue and groove styling that pairs nicely with country or period bathrooms, and the adjustable hinges mean it'll fit most standard toilet shapes without any fuss. The antibacterial finish keeps things hygienic between cleans, and the chip-resistant construction handles everyday use without showing wear. The aluminium hinges open and close smoothly, and installation is straightforward with all the fittings included in the box.
At 45cm high and 37.3cm wide, it's sized to fit standard toilets, and the adjustable hinge spacing (155mm to 200mm) gives you flexibility during setup. The bottom-fix design keeps everything secure once it's in place, and the smooth black finish wipes clean easily. It comes with a manufacturer's 1-year guarantee for peace of mind. Great toilet seat
I bought this to replace my son's broken toilet seat. It's great quality and looks very nice in his bathroom. Very comfortable to sit on and feels very stable. The only thing that would improve it is if it had soft close ability.

A truthful review
I am quite pleased with this purchase. I brought in the same - and there were a few problems with the assembly parts, but when they were corrected, the item is comfortable, easy to clean and looks great with the rest of the bathroom furnishings.

Not sturdy
Not stable no matter how tight it's screwed. Did not like the lid was smaller than the seat. Looked weird. Bought a new one.

Hello there,
Argos Home Tongue and Groove Style Toilet Seat - Grey.
It needs to be fixed from underneath because it's a bottom fix hinge. So if your toilet is built into a unit and you can't reach underneath, this seat is unlikely to be a good fit.
