About this product
The Argos Home Kent Bedside Table keeps essentials within reach while you settle in for the night. There's room on top for a lamp, your phone, or late-night reading, and three deep drawers below store everything else out of sight. It's made from solid oak, a natural hardwood that stands up to daily use, with a cream finish that adds warmth to bedrooms. The antique style metal cup handles and rounded edges give it a timeless look that fits with classic or traditional furniture.
The drawers run on wooden runners, gliding smoothly when you're reaching for what you need in the dark. Each drawer provides generous internal space for storing books, chargers or personal items you want close by. It arrives fully assembled, so you can position it and start using it straight away. Wall fixings included for secure attachment, meeting safety standards for taller furniture in family homes. Part of the Kent collection, it coordinates with other bedroom pieces if you're building a complete set.

I like the appearance of this item, it is also a more practical height for modern deep mattresses, where other bedside tables are too low. The drawers move smoothly, but for a bedroom, a more delicate handle would look better the than the metal cup drawer pull. Even a wooden knob or handle would suit it better than the kitchen type cup handle. The item is also extraordinarily heavy, and unpacking it is difficult and tedious. Obviouif it is to travel from Vietnam, it needs good packaging, but is there nothing more environmentally friendly than the huge amount of polystyrene used? It has to be taken to the local tip, there's too much for a bin.

I already had several Argos Home Kent pieces and was impressed by the sturdiness and overall quality of them for not a lot of money. This item is no different, it arrived very well packaged and the only "assembly" needed was to take a screwdriver and switch the handles from the inside of the drawers to the outside, which is a doddle (they're inside to protect them during transit). The drawers are usefully sized for what is, after all, just a bedside cabinet. Yet again, I'm well pleased with this range of furniture.

Neat side table
Very pleased with this bedside unit. I bought two of these and I like their fresh clean look. Wooden top is a nice feature and they are sturdy little cabinets. I am so pleased with these I have ordered a matching chest of drawers.
