Good fan not so great air con
Great fan not so good at cooling. Had in medium room spent more time putting ice blocks in than enjoying the air. Ice blocks it comes with are tiny n not worth freezing get the proper ice blocks.

Works well
Bought this for my caravan for when I had to leave the dogs for a short while. Kept the caravan at a comfortable temperature and took the worry out of leaving them. Light and easy to move around and easy to store.

Absolute rubbish
I tried this for a week thinking it was answer to cooling down my rooms, complete waste of time it actually made my bedroom warmer according to the thermometer I bought, I tried putting the ice blocks in made no difference whatsoever, took it back to Argos as it was not fit for purpose, you are better off with a good sized fan instead and it's cheaper.

Adequate
I bought this 1 month ago and it is fine. It does what I expected it to do. You need to change the water on a regular basis or it starts to smell. But it advises you change the water after each use so no surprises there. OK for the money.

Waste Of Money
I bought this item a few weeks ago when the weather was really hot. I live in a small apartment and thought this would be ideal. Unfortunately it was not the case. As as I took it out of the box I thought that it looked cheap and plasticky. I was willing to give it a go to prove me wrong but it really is a waste of money and the air that came out of it didn't even feel cold sitting near to it.

Hello Stevie,
Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler:
You can either fill up the water from the top of the machine or from the water drawer located at the back of the item.
Thank you for using Q&A.
I bought mine last year and have found that the hotter it is the sooner the tank needs topping up. Ioften run mine for more than 6 hours and just top up a couple of times a day with about a litre of water using the top tray, really not an issue or an inconvenience. I do change the water regularly though, at least every couple of days to keep it fresh, by draining the tank into the sink - its not that heavy to do this.
Hello there,
This Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler can run for approximately 6hrs from a full tank of water.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Chasley,

EH3674ARFOB - 6L AIR COOLER.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello Ollie,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler: The Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler (Model EH3634MTBA) is designed to cool the air using water, but it doesn't make the water itself significantly cooler than room temperature. When running the cooler on a fast setting, it will circulate air over the water, which can help cool the air being blown into the room, making the environment feel cooler. However, the water will likely climatize to the room temperature over time.
Thank you for using Q&A
Yes, and you can put one when frozen into the cooler compartment on top, then keep one in the freezer. This worked a treat with those hot overnight temps to keep us and the dogs cool. I have a Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd (double coat), and they were both laid in front of it when an ice pack was installed. It comes with two packs, and you can use the reusable ones from lunch bags as well. Each pack lasts about 5 or 6 hours.
Hi There,
Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler
I can confirm this comes with two ice packs.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi There,
Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler
Having checked I can see pressing the cold button activates the cooling function.
Thanks for using Q&A.
No but it can help you to spell does.
Nope. Its a glorified fan..and thats only when you add LOTS of ice into the back and the ice packs that come with at the top. It did nothing to cool down the room on a 30degree day, just blew slightly colder air which you can only feel when directly on you. Furthermore, there is no removable tank so unless you take the time to drain each time, youll be adding cold water to existing warm water which makes it even more ineffective. Also found it somehow went stagnant within a week!
Slightly cools down the room but not much at all, its eextremely noisy and sprays water at you
Waste of money dont bother
Hello Tomo,
The supplier has advised the following for the Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler:

Hi Argos_customer,
The Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler is generally considered to be reasonably quiet, especially on its lower settings, the noise level is around 55 dB.
Thank you for using Q & A
Hello Spy1,
The supplier has advised the following for the Beldray 6L Portable Air Cooler:
"Running the cold function with no water will damage the internal components and may degrade the products functionality. The product can run for approximately 6 hours with a full tank of water, we recommend using the timer function so the product turns off before the water runs out."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Nothing, it just makes a faint noise
